Umpire Pathway (SFNL & VAFA)

  • SFNL (Southern Football Netball League)

The Southern Football Netball League is a league ranging from under 19s football to senior men's and women's football. The SFNL is one of the stepping stones to progressing your umpiring and taking your career to the top at the AFL.

Already we have multiple SMJFL umpires who also umpire with the SFNL on a Saturday. If you have any interest in umpiring on a Saturday with the SFNL please contact either the SMJFL Umpire Academy Manager, Cam Watts (umpiring@smjfl.com.au) or SFNL Director of Umpiring, Jonathon Auditore (jonathana@ggs.vic.edu.au).

The SFNL Umpires train Wednesday nights from 6-7:30pm at Moorleigh Reserve.
